Student Services
In the education industry, education institutions need to be able to differentiate between customer-oriented and student-oriented service. Customer-oriented service focuses on the generalized needs of a regular or frequent buyer. Student-oriented service focuses on the individuals that attend a school. This gives a new meaning to the type of service that education institutions must provide to its students. Education institutions that realize the difference between the two types of service will have the ability to develop student-oriented service that will meet the needs of its students. Student Oriented Services (SOS) provides an understanding of how the provide quality service to the student population and increase student satisfaction for the education institution.
Student Oriented Services (SOS) is a book of information and activities to assist educational institutions in the transition from a customer focused to a student oriented basis for delivering quality services to its student population.
